Be on the lookout for some small changes and some major ones at Blair Field, as Long Beach State and the Dirtbags make the field their permanent home, as Long Beach State assumes operations from the City of Long Beach as part of an extended lease with the city. The Dirtbags, despite having played their home games at Blair since 1993, will now be able to call Blair Field their true home, practice at the facility, and will be the primary tenants of the historic facility. The arrangement allows the Long Beach State to make much-needed improvements to the infrastructure of the facility, as well as make additional touches that will be beneficial to the program and should also increase the enjoyment of the fan experience at what has already been named "one of the 10 best college baseball facilities" in the nation by Baseball America.

Bad things -- Anderson trying to be like Lebron (just make the plays you can make, please, and for heaven's sake make your layups), Phelps being vastly outplayed TWICE by an almost mediocre soph Serna, and we waive bye-bye to finishing 1st or 2nd and now might have to go 3-1 in the remaining league games to avoid playing on Wednesday in Anaheim depending on what CP and UCD do (the only hope at winning the BWCT because no team has ever won 4 games in 4 days to win it).

What is Anderson's problem this year?   Is he putting too much pressure on himself?

All of a sudden the CSUN game is starting to outshadow the CSF game. Again, if CSUN would have won the game you wouldn't have heard nothing about all of the crap that took place after the game. CDM needs to chase 2 players off for next season and get a physical/gritty juco center AND a gritty PG who doesn't give a hoot who he's playing. Casper is a good 2nd string PG and that's it, as the past NINE games have shown.

This program will NEVER come close to equalling UOP's mid 2000s run.
Because Dan Monson never does recruit physical players. I'm beginning to believe that they will NEVER recruit physical players.
Does Dan have something against physical players? Seth could recruit them. Heck, even Morgan could recruit them.

And there is no one coming in next season that is a rebounder in any way. Just a guard, a 6-5 wing, and a 200 lb. center.

This is the perfect game to get that swagger back. We need TWO halves of basketball, Minimal turnovers and GOOD free throw shooting. Until we string at least two games together with all three (preferably with one on the road) there will still be questions.
