I am predicting the latter. I think the defensive mindset against UCI may have sunk in and now the offense will follow. Also, my bet is that we have normal starters so that we won't be in an offensive hole after the first half. Double digit Beach win, back on track.

This team plays to the level of their competition. Just like me when shooting billiards. Dan has to change the "Mindset" as he calls it. He has to get them up for playing Poly as much as playing one of the big boys. This next game tomorrow night vs. SB will either mean limping into the tourney or a chance of turning it around and getting back into the chase.

As far as game experience goes they really are beyond being sophs. But they are still sophs mentally. They still need to mature.

I too thought that we should of beat Irvine by more. But Irvine is not that bad of a team. And LBSU did a good job defensively on Wise. He was 2 of 8 from the field. The important thing is we won and hopefully the kids got some of their confidence back.

They are sophomores who have played a lot for 1 1/2 seasons now. I would have expected some back tracking given the schedule, but this seems to go beyond that. The talent on this team should whoop UCMe by at least 10-12 pts. at home.

Anderson needs to shut it down, he's hurting the team. And if he doesn't, he's possibly hurting himself for next season too.

Again, they need to take a look at the floor and the too cold temp setting in the Pyramid. Too many lower leg/foot injuries happen to this program.

OMG Oracle, calm down. What would you say if they lost? Maybe this victory will get their confidance back.

Because of all of the pre season hype about how good LB was going to be LB has a huge target on their backs. All the BW teams are fired up to play us. The kids are going to have to over come that. Lets see what happens in the next 2 games. Maybe LB will get their swagger back.

..that will take care of ANY chance at EVER being a top 50 program! If not next year, sayonara to that!

Add Richardson to huge disapointments. Eric Wise didn't have any trouble adjusting as a true freshman a year ago.
Frank Burlison MISSED on the Richardson prediction bigtime.

It's clear that the inside game stinks. Fullerton brought in strong post players (Webster and Johnson). Why is it so hard for LB to bring them in? Shepard is too thin at 200.
And I'm almost ready to call Phelps a big disapointment!

Foolerton manhandled them on the boards. Has Dan ever recruited a physical player in his time here? Does he just not think that they fit into his system?
