If there are any rides left dole him out one. But, how does he lose a jump ball? We need Deng or Djuma opening up a Twitter account for the African recruits. This could be our niche instead of the Euro route.

Could it have been any easier for him. Maybe he would have had to work A LITTLE if he had been playing tougher competition.

I agree. I have never been a fan of the "you can't teach height" theory, especially after all of these years being a 49er fan. But, I will take a 7' 5" project over our past 7 foot projects. Unlike them (minus Fleming) this guy could add weight And his Fernando Valenzuela age could only be viewed as an added bonus. Why wouldn't you offer him?

I understand what D was saying, but, name a more dominant high school player, with less experience? Plus, he has to deal with everyday things (getting accustomed to America) that doesn't even enter the psychological equation. I think the African players are more suited for mid major schools like us. They are low key, laid back and are generally shy. They want to just blend in and what better campus than Long Beach State to do so? Why not use your feelers, because we have created somewhat of a bridge already with Deng Deng and Jumy. I can think of many more schollie longshots than he.
Five years ago, I would have never of chosen to watch SDSU/UNLV over Duke/Maryland. We we're rewarded. I am glad SDSU is joining the Big West, because once they do, BWTV will work a whole hell of a lot better (sorry, but Hawaii ain't gonna do it) If UNLV, Nevada and Fresno State join, they will all give us a yum yum with a paid whole year subscription.
