The problem is that most of the Big West schools aren't and most likely will continue not making a commitment to improving mens basketball. That is the only sport we should really be focusing on. All of the minor sports will benefit if we are in a better basketball conference. In addition, the commissioner of the Big West Conference is worthless, but the University presidents don't have the fortitude or desire to get rid of him to improve the athletic profile of the conference. You can dream all you want that the conference will keep improving, but you'll be saying the same thing 5, 10, or 20 years from now.
