OK, so please tell me I wasnt the only fool jumping up and down watching the game? Wow, so nice to beat Cal LA. TJ, TJ TJ, what can you say, he was a beast!
Lots of contributions from everyone, even from off the bench. Great day to be a Niner!

TJ is a beast. Not winning POY last year has produced a chip on his shoulder. And I don't think it will go away until he wins one himself.
Way to go TJ. Casper too. Gilling, Plater and Phelps showed good too. 11/29/09 3:52 PM |

I think I had a couple out of body experiences. But the joy of winning this game can't even be explained. since UCLA will NEVER schedule us, at least
while Monson is here, we will be on a long, long winning streak against them. We can shove that down Bruin throats for a while.
TJ just made a national name for himself. He should be first team all tournament. Ware should get on the 2nd team. Asking a lot for the 7th place team but those two were standouts. LA, its all in his head, I see nothing wrong with him physically. When he gets over it, he'll explode on some teams. Gilling and Plater are true snipers this year, both still a bit streaky but much smarter and don't take but a precious few bad shots. Woodard is a solid backup looking like Brian Camper more and more every time I see him. Fleming, he's still a project and time is running out. I hate saying that because I love the guy, but he just doesn't have it. Richardson should gobble up his minutes. Chang will be good someday, but not yet. I do think he has a good feel for the game. Next year he'll be solid off the bench. 11/29/09 4:57 PM |

This was a good win. I don't care whether UCLA is down or not. All the casual fan will say is hey, LBSU beat UCLA. I'am not talking about the Press
Telegram. But maybe the media, especially TV, will realize that there are other schools in town besides UCLA and USC.
Hopefully current LBSU students will have a little more pride in THEIR school. And wouldn't it be funny if some UCLA students started wearing LBSU sweatshirts at their school? 11/29/09 5:07 PM |
